Drying Time

Drying Time & Recoating

The paint dries to touch in approximately 1 hour. Recoating can be carried out after 16 hours, allowing the coating to properly set and provide maximum water resistance.

Coverage

Coverage & Efficiency

Each litre of Berger Chlorinated Rubber Base Paint covers approximately 8–10 m² per coat. Coverage may vary depending on surface texture and porosity. Applying multiple thin coats ensures uniform protection, optimal adhesion, and long-lasting corrosion resistance.

Product Description

Berger Chlorinated Rubber Base Paint – Superior Anti-Corrosive Coating

Berger Chlorinated Rubber Base Paint is formulated from plasticized, chlorinated rubber combined with carefully selected pigments. This advanced formulation provides exceptional impermeability to water and water vapors, making metal surfaces highly resistant to corrosion. It is ideal for industrial, commercial, and residential metal structures that require long-lasting protection against environmental wear.

Its unique composition ensures durability far beyond traditional oil or varnish-based paints, enhancing surface longevity and minimizing maintenance.

Application

Surface Preparation & Application Guidelines

This one-pack chlorinated rubber paint can be applied year-round. Ensure that surfaces are thoroughly pre-treated and clean, dry, and free from loose materials or contaminants. It dries through solvent evaporation and can be applied at low ambient temperatures (35˚ to 40˚F) without damaging the protective film, provided the substrate is dry.

Apply evenly using a brush, roller, or spray gun. For optimal protection and a uniform finish, multiple thin layers are recommended.
