Apexior No. 3

Drying Time

Drying Time & Curing

The coating dries to touch within 3–4 hours under normal conditions. Full curing occurs after 24 hours, producing a durable, weather-resistant layer capable of withstanding harsh external conditions.

Coverage

Coverage & Performance

Each litre covers approximately 9–12 square meters at 38 microns dry film thickness. Actual coverage depends on surface texture, porosity, and application technique. For the best results, apply multiple thin coats to ensure uniform protection and optimal adhesion.

Product Description

Berger Apexior No. 3 – Premium Anti-Corrosive Coating

Berger Apexior No. 3 is specially formulated for external boiler surfaces, chimneys, condensers, and industrial equipment. It delivers excellent protection against rust, corrosion, and harsh environmental conditions while providing a smooth, durable finish. Ideal for industrial, commercial, and outdoor applications, this high-performance coating ensures longevity and reduces maintenance costs.

Widely used in power plants, refineries, and heavy industries, Apexior No. 3 offers superior adhesion and a weather-resistant coating that extends the life of exposed metal surfaces.

Application

Surface Preparation & Application

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry, and free from dust, grease, or loose materials. If blast cleaning is carried out, apply Epilux 66 Primer at 25 microns for optimal adhesion.

Apply three coats of Apexior No. 3 using a brush or roller. Cover all edges, corners, and exposed sections thoroughly. Maintain proper ventilation during application for effective drying.

Allow a minimum of 24 hours between coats and 24 hours after the final coat for proper hardening. This ensures a robust, weather-resistant, and long-lasting protective finish.
